5:00am - Arrive at Hospital
5:38 - Complete paperwork to check in, start IV, get antibiotic for Group B Strep
7:00 - Wait for order from Dr to start pitocin (wondering why we had to come at 5am)
8:15 - Start pitocin
8:30 - Dr Fogiel broke my water, dilated to 2 cm, 50% effaced
10:15 - *Stadol (starting to feel the pain!), another dose of Group B Strep antibiotic
11:35 - Keep the Stadol coming please
12:00 - I felt a lot of pressure, was hoping to be dilated to 8. The nurse checked...4 whopping cm! Just shoot me now
12:40pm - more Stadol
1:40 - 6.5/7 cm...progress...more Stadol
1:50 - Group B strep antibiotic
2:15 - 8cm, get the Doctor, NOW!
2:40 - 2 pushes, Our beautiful baby is born
She weighed in at 6lbs 15oz
She is 18.5 inches long
*Stadol is the medication they can add to the IV for crazy people who do not get an epidural

Congratulations!!! She is beautiful! I'll call you tomorrow. We are bringing our traditional tamale dinner to you guys! I hope you like Tex-Mex. Let me know if there is anything else we can bring or do!
