Flood

The rain started coming down yesterday morning. We got 3 inches of rain in just a few hours. This is our back porch. The crazy thing is that the flood didn't come in from the back porch, it came in the back bedrooms and we didn't even realize it until after the storm. Ugh!

Here are the bedrooms. Mike ripped up the carpet and pulled the padding out all along the walls where the water saturated the carpet.
This is my "creative room". Now I admit that it wasn't clean to begin with, but we had to pull out everything from the floor and the closet.

Easter Egg Hunt party

We went with our friend Melanie to her church's Easter Egg Hunt/Carnival.

The people in the room under us didn't appreciate our "sleep over" so much, at least that is what the front desk called to tell us. They were being a little wild...they don't get out much :)

Town Fair

We went to our town fair. They had several demonstrations and activities. This one was a local Taekowndo group. It was very cool.

They had masks for the kids to try on. This is Jack.
